Yes, Legoland is probably best for kids under ten, but even as parents, we thought it was great. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. I have not been this satisfied with a 'package' in a very long time. The entire experience was worth every penny. The VIP package included: Red Brick Carpet VIP Experience inside the park, 1 night in VIP Suite, In room Character breakfast, evening turndown service with bed time story, private Master Model Builder Workshop Expereince, evening meal in Brick Family Restaurant, VIP pool bag. Definitely try the Fried Green Apples which were out of this world. We did see the Brickbeard show and were soaked. ![]() The eight hours we were in the park flew by and both my wife and I were extremely tired by the time we made it back to the hotel. Many of the reviews talk about how boring the park is for adults. Our kids are 7 ad 5, so the rides were fantastic for them. ![]() Our first ride gave us a view of the entire park which was a great introduction to all that was in store. Our car was valet parked and Melinda whisked us off to the park. We pulled into the Legoland Hotel and we were met by our guide, Melinda. We drove down from Orlando and the trip was easy. I would say this park is great if you can get a discounted ticket, but for me it was not worth the full ticket price.again, i am sure a lot of people would disagree but I just didn't find that there was all that much stuff to do there for a 2 and 5 year old.I am sure the park will be better for us when they are a bit older.īooked the Legoland Hotel Ultimate VIP Experience for the day after Christmas. There weren't a whole lot of rides for my 2 year old (outside of Duplo land) which was kind of a bummer but the 5 year old was able to get on a decent amount of things. We were done with the whole park in about half a day. And there is a Lego world that has a lot of different countries and cities that is very cool. ![]() All around the park are Lego sculptures which I always find impressive. There were a lot of great character meet and greets that did not take too long.of course, meeting Emmit and Wiildstyle was the highlight. The park was not too big and we did not do the water park portion (be advised, this is an additional cost). We got our tickets through Costco at $50 when they were running a promo and I think that's what it was worth. I know many people will probably not feel the same but I just don't think this is a $100 per ticket type park. Cypress Gardens was put here when land was cheap and Orlando did not exist, many, many years ago. I would not go again and would not recommend for anyone else to go. For one ride, a cheap version of Buzz Lightyear, the kids over time have loosened the vertical bars on the cattle fences in line and shake them up and down in frustration, making a lot of noise to add to the stress. Waiting in line for small kids is torture, yet the wait for the rides when we visited was 45 minutes and up. Winter Haven, and is located just off the north/south route of Highway 17. Supervisors or troubleshooting staff are nowhere to be found (unlike Disney and Universal, where one sees them all over the parks). Cypress Gardens is located at One LEGOLAND Way, Winter Haven, Polk County. Parking is $17 and it took us a half an hour from the main road (abandoned Kmart) to the parking ticket booth. But if your young children are looking for thrills or adventure, you will be disappointed. Granted, this park is targeted for young children. The park is inferior in its implementation, particularly in its ability to allow access to its lame rides. One gets the distinct impression that the decision to refit the old Cypress Garden and rebrand as an east coast Legoland was driven by expediency alone.
